The Jubilee Concert

I got there a little late so I missed a significant portion of the show, but at least I was able to see the end! No, I didn’t actually get into the concert; rather I watched with thousands of others in Hyde Park on several giant screen TVs.

I was able to watch Stevie Wonder and Sir Paul McCartney perform. It was so fun. Especially with the crowd around me singing and dancing along too.

When the fireworks went off at the end of the concert, all I had to do was turn around and I could see them above the horizon of trees next to the full moon. Not going to lie, with the music and the crowd I was moved to tears. I felt completely alive and so grateful and fortunate to be there in that moment.
