This is one place I have been lookin forward to since the beginning plans of this trip. After so many years of Spanish classes, I cannot tell you how often I’ve learned about the architect Gaudí and his unique work – especially that of La Sagrada Familia.
I am astounded at the attention to detail with this building. The interior of the church is meant to look like a forest. The interior is actually the only part that is “finished” – it has been being built since the 1800s an they still are no where near to completion. My only hope is that they finish it in my lifetime so I can go back and see it in all its glory.
