Cheese Picnic

Once again Justine came through as an excellent friend. On mine and Tammy’s France bucket list was to eat some French cheeses. What better way than to learn from a French girl herself??

We all met in front of Musee d’Orsay for our cheese picnic. Justine brought a baguette and the following cheeses.

1. Selles-sur-cher
2. fourme
3. rocamadour

They were so good! The first two were goat cheese, the third, cow. And they became progressively stinker. The second one was my favorite; it was so creamy and delicious.

Unfortunately these cheeses would never be allowed in the US because they are not pasteurized. Justine taught us a lot about French cheeses. So grateful for a friend like her to go out of her way and do this for us. Thanks Justine!!
