Barcelona Day 2

Happy Monday in Barcelona!

We had a pretty packed day! We did the following:

Walking Tour
Our hostel had a free walking tour of some areas of barcelona. Our tour guide, JB, was awesome. We learned a lot about the history of Spain and more specifically, Barcelona’s influence in that history. It is interesting to learn that Barcelona was barely on the map until they hosted the 1992 Olympics and the whole city turned around. Tammy and I were saying Detroit should host the Olympics so we can make a good turnaround too.

We then visited Sagrada Familia which I will talk about in another post.

We looked at more Gaudí architecture on our walk home and indulged in some delicious fancy tapas. Trust me, the tapas deserve their own post as well!!
