Notre Dame was beautiful. I’ve only ever seen what it looked like on the outside, never the inside. So when I walked in, I was stunned by the intricate design and vibrant colors of the stained glass.
Notre Dame is soon to celebrate its 850th birthday. The church is still active and a great display of gothic architecture. It is very famous from Victor Hugo’s Hunchback novel.
As with every church I’ve been in so far, I lit a candle for my family and friends. Know that I’m thinking of everyone while overseas!! xoxox
