On our final day in Barcelona, rather than jumping on a train early to Madrid as we had originally intended, the warm temperature and bright sun beckoned us to the beach one last time.
As you can see, the water was so much clearer and bluer with the sun out! It also was packed. We spent a solid few hours there. I fell asleep and acquired a wicked sunburn on my entire back side. SO painful.
Also, when we returned to the hostel to freshen up for our train, I discovered a handful of sand in my bathing suit. Surprise!
